The synthetic oil used in Cummins QSF3.8 diesel engines cuts time spent changing oil, oil filters and fuel filters in half.


To make the most of the increased uptime, owners and equipment managers should keep the following in mind:

Extended service intervals apply to JLG and SkyTrak telehandlers equipped with Cummins QSF3.8 diesel engines.
  1. Initial oil changes should still be completed at 500 hours (or one year).
  2. After that, every oil change should be completed at 1,000 hours (or one year).*
