Danger

Failure to obey the instructions and safety rules in the appropriate Operator's Manual and Service Manual for your machine will result in death or serious injury. Many of the hazards identified in the operator’s manual are also safety hazards when maintenance and repair procedures are performed.

Do Not Perform Maintenance Unless:

  1. You are trained and qualified to perform maintenance on this machine.
  2. You read, understand and obey:
    1. manufacturer’s instructions and safety rules
    2. employer’s safety rules and worksite regulations applicable governmental regulations
  3. You have the appropriate tools, lifting equipment and a suitable workshop.

Ground Module Configuration

When it becomes necessary to replace a ground or power module on a JLG machine, it must be properly configured after installation. Use your JLG® Analyzer, or the new JLG® Mobile Analyzer, for configuration by accessing the “Machine Setup” menu and choosing the correct model and options appropriate to your machine.

If possible, before you replace the module, record all of the settings. This will allow you to set everything back to the correct settings. You may also consult your machine’s service manual to get the default factory settings.

Take a look at this video for a brief overview of the JLG Analyzer’s Machine Setup functions.
