For select machines, this means a significant savings for fleet owners, as a typical wire replacement job can cost anywhere from $2,000 to $7,000. Over the typical life cycle of a machine, this means more uptime and a potentially higher resale value when owners replenish their fleets.To receive the maximum return on this change, keep the following in mind: - The new wire rope replacement interval is 12 years, or 7,000 machine hours.
